The BFD is distributed as a ZIP file (appr. 200 MB) containing:
- 600 images (340×512 px, 72 dpi)
- Validation data with means and standard deviations of the Big Two and Big Five personality judgments and naturalness judgments for all images
- Publication List with information about the images that can be used in scientific publications
- License Agreement
- Manuscript describing the BFD in detail
Terms of use
The BFD can be used freely for non-commercial scientific research by researchers who work for an officially accredited university. Ownership rights and intellectual property rights in and to the BFD shall remain with Mirella Walker. Read more under License Agreement.
Request BFD materials
To request the BFD materials please fill in the Form. Note that only official academic e-mail addresses are accepted. In order to show your affiliation with an officially accredited university, please cite a link to the website of your university mentioning your affiliation. As soon as your request has been approved, you will receive an e-mail with the link to download the BFD.
